Poison Rally 2009

Wow... what a jol!!!

Estelle and I took the van (our turn) and managed to get there  first. Signed in, got the chalet and unpacked. Well timed to the rest that arrived as soon as Estelle and I had finished unloading the van.

People that attended were Mike (Brutus) and Estelle, Jurie and Noddy, Tent Peg (Dirk)  and Matchstick (Rene), Dirk and Sandy (Amiploeg), and Las and Deon.

Friday evening was spent rekindling old friendships with others from other clubs, partying and basically getting drunk and having a jol. Party was soooo good that someone decided to steal Jurie's cooler box literally from under our noses (although I suspect that we may have misplaced it under the wrong tree... and that it may still be there, waiting for us next year).

Saterday was chilled, into town to get more supplies (drinks) and meat for a braai later on. As we took the last piece of cooked meat off the braai that evening the heavens opened and treated us to heavy rainfall. Due to the usual hangovers and tiredness it was actually an earlyish night for all.

Sunday's return trip was uneventfull and everyone returned safetly.

	Poison Greetings! CONFERENCE ROOM FOR POISON RALLY 2009 Thank you, we have received your booking for a chalet for the Poison Rally 2009, which will be held at Rustenburg Kloof over the weekend of 4 – 6 December 2009. Please note: All keys will only be available on Friday 4 December 2009 after 10:00am. Conference rooms are extremely comfortable and newly built, consisting off: airconditioner, TV, kettle, 2 cups, 2 glasses, double bed or 2 single beds, bedding, bathroom, No Fridge. Please bring own TOWELS and TOILET PAPER!

	Due to the KAK accomodation for the Poison (aka SMALL), Estelle and I will pay R500 towards it and sleep in it. All others come camp around it and for the collective amount of R 250 you all get a clean bathroom. I shall pay the lot so long and we can all sort out the nitty gritty later.

	Where can we book accommodation for the 2009 Poison rally?

	Brozz, you would have to contact the rally organisers, Custom Riders. Accomodation bookings are usually sold out about three or four months ahead of the rally. You can get details on their website.
